FIFTEEN

Eva strode along the corridor, perfectly convinced that she was about to endure one of the best lunch breaks that Saturday afternoon. She smiled at a passing assistant practitioner on the way to her private room.

Framed photographs of models that were used for her clinic’s brand imagery, adorned the bright, white walls. After using all her energy on treating and improving the lives of her clients that morning, she needed her own rejuvenation.

She entered her private room with bright eyes, and it wasn’t long before she devoured her sushi lunch and found herself quite comfortably astride Taylor. All she needed was Taylor’s heavenly body on top of her, stimulating her mind with every inch of their bodies caressing each other like silk.

‘You know I could be in bed with you like this for the rest of the afternoon, don’t you?’ she smouldered down at Taylor.

‘If there’s anything that can draw me out of boredom, it’s waiting for you in this room like one of your patients,’ Taylor retorted, stroking Eva’s arms. She gave Eva a sarcastic smirk and raised her brow. ‘So yeah, I could be here all day for you!’

Eva smiled a little; Taylor’s mind could be sharp.

‘Well then, we have a daily routine set, don’t we?’

Eva flinched at the sound of her phone chiming and she reached out to grab it from the floor, but Taylor had other ideas. She seized Eva’s waist and pulled her back onto the bed, stopping her from getting the phone.

‘Taylor!’ she struggled. ‘Let me – answer it!’

The pair rolled around on the bed, squabbling like teenagers when Taylor plummeted her hand down the front of Eva’s panties. She reached for Eva’s clitoris and rubbed in circular motions, but Eva removed her hand and leapt from the bed in amusement.

‘For goodness sake, Taylor!’ Eva giggled. Shaking her head, she took hold of her phone and her mouth dried.

Lightheaded and dizzy, she raised the palm of her hand at Taylor. ‘It’s Daniel.’

She dropped herself into an armchair as if she were too weak to hold herself up. But with her mind now in complete disarray, she suddenly wished she were alone. Her eyes were set on her phone; she missed the call, but a message had arrived.

Finally, that idiot reached out to her again after too long, but her emotions were all muddled. Silence filled the room and she waited several seconds for her pounding heart to calm before opening the message from her husband.
